What the Flux-a-Thon??!!

A Flux Factory production, our 3nd annual Flux-a-Thon is part parade, part dinner/dance party, part participatory art showdown, part walkathon, but 100% Fluxy.

All are invited to march with teams through LIC from our home base, Flux Factory to the lovely new LICArtists gallery located on the scenic waterfront of Hunter’s Point.  After our celebrity panel bestows honors on our teams, we celebrate all night with drinks, food, DJs, site-specific installations and more!

Proceeds from the Flux-a-Thon support Flux’s free public art exhibitions and help keep costs low for our Artists-in-Residence.

Celebrity Judges

There are no losers at Flux, but there ARE winners. Our panel of experts in 2018 included The Queens Museum’s Nunghsin Hu, Art F City’s Paddy Johnson, and Local Project’s Carolina Peñafiel.

Our 2018 dance party at LICA gallery will be DJed by our beloved DJ PlayPlay.

Wined and Dined

Drinks provided by Arrowood Farms and the Vine Collective and food catered by Tracy May Fuad, Flux-a-Thon ticket holders were served a full menu!
